"Long wait for results"

My Mum attended a rheumatology appointed on 22nd December and was referred for an urgent x-ray on her hip. Fantastic that this was done there and then. However, we are still awaiting the results whilst she is in considerable pain. Sorry to say that this level of service is not what we usually get from The Royal Berkshire hospitals.

Thank you for posting a review of your experience and we apologise that your mother has not yet had her results. Due to the current pandemic and the recent Christmas / New Year disruption there has been a slight delay in writing the radiology reports. The Rheumatology Team are aware of your anxieties and would like to reassure you that any outstanding results will be sent out shortly. In the meantime, if your mother would like to register her details with our PALS Team (0118 322 8338 or email talktous@royalberkshire.nhs.uk), they can keep her informed of any progress.
