"Minor surgery treatment"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Dermatology

(as the patient),

One afternoon at the beginning of January 2021, I visited the hospitals ambulatory care unit for treatment of a basal cell lump on my back. I was greeted by a couple of friendly nurses, David and Lee-Ann. I was taken to a treatment room. Before removing the lesion, the procedure was explained to me in a clear and concise manner. I was reassured by their courteous and professional manner. I felt at ease throughout, there was little discomfort and it was carried out expediently. After surgery the nurses were attentive as to my general wellbeing. It was explained to me in detail after surgery, personal care for my wound and given literature to that effect. I was then assisted to the lifts by one of the nurses. I would have to say it was a very satisfactory and positive experience.

Thank you for leaving such lovely, detailed feedback.

It is great news you felt at ease during the procedure. Lee-Ann and I try to keep an informal atmosphere in the room and I am glad you found this satisfactory.

I hope everything proceeded as planned afterwards and you are healing well.

Thank you once again

David
