"They deserve a medal"

I cannot thank the man & lady ambulance crew that came to take my partner to hospital yesterday after his hip collapsed. Not only did it take about an hour and a half to get him into the ambulance because of his pain and his inability to be able to move but also we were in a very confinded space. Once they got him to hospital the PRUH they then had to sit in a queue of ambulances waiting to be admitted. Because of covid I couldn't be with my partner but those lovely 2 people just doing their job had to stay with him for about 5/6 hours outside the hospital waiting for a bed for him. In all that time they stayed with him they were not able to go and assist other people that desperately needed their help. I would like to thank them both from the bottom of my heart and all the other ambulance crews and NHS workers for all your hard work that you are doing to try to keep us all safe. You are Angels. Ps he had his hip replacement done tonight and hopefully will be home in a few days. Stay safe all of you and please take care. Love to you all and your families. 💖💖💖
