"Me and my dodgy chest"

About: DHU Healthcare CIC / NHS 111 King's Mill Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

For 4 days or so I had felt like I had a weight on my left side of the chest. As an asthmatic, I tend to worry. Finally decided to ring 111 as, according to Google I was heading for a heart attack. I was told to go to hospital. I attended A&E. I was seen almost immediately. The tests I received were quickly and expertly done. A particular mention to Vince. Luckily I didn't have anything bad. I was given antibiotics. They all deserve a medal. 10/10

Thank you for taking the time to write a post acknowledging the excellent and very prompt advice, care and treatment you have received from all the services recently and in particular regarding your recent experience with the NHS 111 service provided in your area by DHU Health Care CIC.

We try our very best to provide a high level of care and we are always encouraged when patients and their families take the time to tell us how we did.

I am very happy to hear that you have had a good experience with the NHS 111 service and hope you are now recovering well and I wish you all the best for the future.

It was my pleasure to be honest about the first class treatment I received. I was terrified when I went to A&E. Also I mention to Louis and nurse Michelle on 111. Very kind and helpful. As was the doctor who rang me, tho I didn't catch his name
