My nephew was cared for in Intensive Care and the E wings. Appropriate discharge planning and different departments communicating with one another needed a bit of encouragement, especially the mental health side, but over all the care, empathy and support he received was incredible.
I can't send flowers due to covid, but would like to whole heartedly thank the surgeon for life saving very neat work, doctors for working within grey areas of additional treatment in a non discriminating manner and especially the nursing staff who cared for him around the clock, put up with family calling desperately worried and worked tirelessly. Also the D&A worker for working completely flawlessly within Safeguarding. I am sure by the end of shift one must sometimes feel deflated and exhausted. But you all literally saved his life. Personally and as a team. Thank you.
"Thank you"
