I contacted my local midwife due to my mood taking a low dip. I made contact between Christmas and new year she was so kind and offered me to go see her and to speak to my doctor about going back on to medication to help my mental health I declined at the point to see her as I thought I could handle my mood. Although a week later with more stress and anxiety I phoned again and was told to come in to speak to someone, although I got her name wrong and didn’t think I’d get to speak to her I was warmly greeted by Sarah (I think sorry if I’ve forgot again) who I’d spoke to last week and didn’t think I’d get to see. She took me through sat down and spoke through what was bothering me and reassured me about what I could do to help me and told me how I’d make a good mum when my little boy arrives she really made me feel better and even let me hear my boy for the first time, really made my day. I couldn’t have asked for a more friendly face for a chat at this busy and stressful time. I’m so thankful for her help and without speaking to her, would hate to think how worse I'd be feeling right now. Thank you so much.
