About: St Mary's Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

I had total hysterectomy in December 2020. Being alone due to no visitors/guardian policy, I was so nervous. However, from the the first nurse in admission, Anaesthetist let alone the Consultant who I met few times before and the other nurses and staff were professional, caring and approachable. The consultant explained everything clearly and made sure I understood the procedure and get involved.

The nurse in the theatre and Anaesthetist put me at ease when I was anxious with the epidural. The consultant was fantastic and calm after the surgery, visited me in the ward few times.

I will always recommend St. Mary's, Ward 62 for anyone, all the staff are brilliant.
