"Great experience as inpatient in SRU, RAH"

I just want to say a massive thank you to the surgical recieving team at the RAH. I unfortunately was admitted through A & E after being referred from GP out of hours on hogmanay 2020 with severe abdominal pain. The staff were absolutely so attentative, caring and very helpful during my stay in Ward 20 ARU. The Consultant Mr Patrick Finn and his team were absolutely fantastic and even one of the young trainee surgeons took me for my CT scan the next morning with the results given to me in the afternoon.   The nurses in the unit were run off their feet but this did not affect my quality of care. Special thanks to my nurse Carolynne and male nurse Richard they truly were professionals. I myself work within the NHS and I really felt compelled to offer my sincere thanks and gratitude to them all.
