At the advice of the reception staff,I used the online consultation form on the website as there were no GP appointments available. A response is guaranteed by the end of the following day and a GP telephoned me the following day. The form allows you to give plenty of info re your issue so you don't need to go through it all again when you speak to the GP. I was given a prescription & it was sent to a chemist of my choice, whilst I was on the call. I was also sent a SMS text with a bar code in the event there were any issue with the pharmacy.
As it can be difficult to get through on the phone sometimes & to get an appointment I would definitely recommend using the e-consult & also register for the online appointment system which can work well too.
