I am a 28 year girl old who experienced hair loss back in 2017, I didn’t get my appointment until this year 2020 November. I met the doctor and was told that my hair loss is permanent And the quicker I treat it the better the outcome she booked me a biopsy and urgent blood test. I had my blood test and then get a biopsy appointment for April, a few days later the appointment is canceled no reason given. I call but no one knows why it has been canceled and the clinic are not responding. My initial diagnosis is discoid lupus hair loss with scarring so unless treated the effect is permanent now I get a phone call appointment booked for July? Seriously a phone call appointment How is that a solution. It has caused me extreme stress imagine being a 28 year old girl losing your hair and knowing It won’t be growing back. Apart from psychological suffering. I feel physical pain in my scalp that keeps me awake. I’ve only been ignored so far, my mental and physical health is not even considered when making such decisions.
