About: York Hospital

I could not have had a better experience at York hospital when giving birth to my first baby. The midwives were absolutely incredible from the moment I walked into triage. They were attentive, informative, transparent with everything they were doing and they cared for me and my baby so well I felt completely safe and at ease in their hands. I cannot thank them all enough for what they did and I would recommend York hospital for the maternity ward in a heartbeat. Already looking forward to having my second baby!

Secondly, it is so great to hear how well looked after and at ease you felt during your time on the ward with the staff. As a trust, putting our patients first and ensuring they have the best experience possible during their time with us is a top priority, so this is wonderful to hear.
