About: Kettering General Hospital / Colorectal surgery Woodland Hospital

(as the patient),

I was late for my bowel cancer screening which was due in April 2020. Due to the Corona virus lockdown I did not receive my screening until the end of October 2020. The delay concerned me a great deal and I worry that it could have a negative impact on the final outcome

The screening practitioner did a good consultation and eas very informative. After screening, the results were fast returned. The preop booking was very good and so was the enhanced recovery programme. The pain buster was very good, I felt very little pain. The care at Woodlands by all staff was excellent

 It would have been good if there was a shorter time between diagnosis and operation, and there was a lack of information and care at KGH.
