"It couldn't have been more perfect"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Maternity care (Wards 47, 48 & 50)

(as the patient),

I cannot thank the staff at the QEUH for the wonderful birth experience when I had my baby girl in mid October.

I’d like to especially thank Ally the midwife who helped us throughout my stay in the labour suite. She was so professional and friendly and made me and my husband feel totally at ease. The anaesthetics team were also excellent, friendly and made sure I understood everything that was going on. The care was second to none.

I had hoped for a natural intervention free birth, but you can’t always control how these things progress, and even though my birth ended in a c section, it couldn’t have been more perfect.
