I had my vaccination yesterday and it was such a good experience. On entering the building I was given hand sanitiser and then guided to the registration window. I was given a card with my next appointment and time. I was then asked to join the queue (only 1 in the queue) and within 2 minutes was called forward. I was greeted by a doctor who introduced himself, gave me problems I should be aware of ie: sore arm, headache etc and then I was given the injection, painless. I was then asked to sit on a socially distanced chair for 15mins and then was allowed to go home.
The whole episode lasted little over 20 minutes and was extremely well organised.
Happily I have had no side effects and look forward to my second dose that will help to prevent me from getting COVID-19
