After receiving the medical abortion, I took the test as advised weeks later. It showed positive so I had to go back for a scan. They singed me off saying the pregnancy had passed so I was relieved .
Weeks after that, I was rushed to hospital after haemorrhaging badly with what was retained pregnancy. The NHS literally saved my life. I had to have an operation to get rid of the pregnancy products in my uterus. I’m shocked that Marie stopes sent me away as a vulnerable patient. It was the most scary experience of my life. Thank you to all the amazing NHS staff who looked after me though. I wouldn’t be here without them
