"The Willows a beacon of excellence"

I am a patient with a compendium of long term ailments. I am also a carer for my terminally ill husband. In each month of 2020 I have had contact with some or all of the Willows doctors, nurses, home visiting team and the Macmillan Nurse.

This stunning term have been so amazingly supportive, kind and effective in helping me and my husband get through a very difficult and challenging year. They have worked tirelessly together to provide us with a joined up and cohesive service that has empowered us and enabled us. No mean feat!

Every member of the team has been professional, human, patient , kind and practical with our anxieties and ailments; they have helped us to understand, address and accept them. They have provided support to each of us and their treatment of our illnesses has been effective and enabled us to resolve our difficulties whilst retaining our autonomy, dignity and hope. What a fantastic practice Affinity Care have created and how amazing the Willows staff are cannot be overstated.

In our year of greatest need (and a year when Covid-19 complicated and challenged every thing you do) you have given us outstanding support, help and treatment; you have shown us unending kindness and patience. I am sure the coming year will be harder than ever both personally and from the continuing drama of Covid-19, but I have every confidence in the support and care that you will provide to enable us to get through what lies ahead.
