About: Maternity care (Wards 47, 48 & 50) / Maternity care (Ward 50)

(as the patient),

A huge thank you to the midwifes in labour & ward 50. Specifically Ally who got me through my labour which ended up an emergency c section. I’m in debited to you and Joanne for your care. Thank you to the incredible theatre staff who assisted Dr Wilson in my emergency c section and kept me calm. I can’t remember everyone’s names but Sandra, Bryan, Ghyrl. Thank you all. Lastly, Emma and Nicola in ward 50 for my post section care and help with feeding.

Thank you for getting in touch. I am sorry to read that you had to have an emergency C section but its good to hear about the care your received and that the staff were able to keep you calm.

I will share your story with the staff in Theatres, the Labour Ward and Ward 50.
