Saw a GP today to have a joint injection, he dealt with this efficiently and kindly, having found time to see me when very busy: this was greatly appreciated.
Such a shame the excellent medics are let down by the reception staff whose usual practice is to be unpleasant, unkind, and unhelpful, they seem to do their best to terrify people so they don’t bother them again. Since difficulties with staff are mentioned several times on this site I am surprised this issue remains unresolved for so long.
(In survey, fairly unsatisfied regarding dignity and respect does not refer to clinicians)
