Been trying to book a smear for 3 months can’t even get connected so appointments for son who is having persisting headaches and weight loss and all I get told is full go to walk in , walk in tell me to go to gp for referral - have a moan day oh we have a cancellation book you in and they don’t even call you - waiting for the practice manager to call me back

The Practice Manager spoke to patient on 17/12/20, due to P/M not in surgery on the 16/12/20.

The patient was advised that cervical screening has only recently been available again in general practice due to COVID. The patient was booked for a smear which was appropriate with her request. Also explained that there was a reduction in appointments for cytology due to staff sickness.

The Practice Manager also spoke to her about her son and was given an appointment.
