My husband 46 years old, has been waiting for a colonoscopy and gastroscopy since being an inpatient in UHM in September. He was appointed originally at UHM this week then was reappointed at the same date however to go to UHW for a later time slot on the same date. This appointment was then completely cancelled last Friday with no further date offered. I completely understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic and the staffing issues with COVID-19, however I feel this is completely unacceptable considering this was meant to be an urgent referral I have left messages and no one has had the courtesy to contact us!
