"Wonderful care throughout this entire year!"

Despite working under the most challenging circumstances, I have found all the GPs in the practice have ensured that I received the care I needed this year. This was mostly by telephone consultations, which I found worked very well for many cases, and twice in person, when it was necessary. They have referred me, when needed, and the rest of the time, listened to my problem and tried to solve it.

The secretary has also been very understanding about a referral letter and all the reception staff have been helpful and proactive, when I have phoned, ensuring that I can speak to a doctor or nurse if needed.

The only area where there could be improvement is the dispensary. The staff are sometimes curt (I know this has been a challenging year but the reception staff have always maintained a professional and helpful manner). Also there have been errors in my drug prescribing, which was concerning.

However overall I am very happy with the service I have had from the practice, especially as it has been a very odd year. The flu vaccination programme was administered very efficiently and I am looking forward to an equally seamless Covid-19 vaccination, hopefully, when my turn comes. I can't wait.
