"Blood test"

About: General practices in Lanarkshire

(as the patient),

I attended the treatment room at Central Health Centre, Cumbernauld today for a blood test. The nurse called my name and I followed them into the examination room. They took my blood without any identity checks. They didn’t ask me to confirm my DOB or my address. I don’t want this to be regarded as a complaint. I understand the stress and pressure the staff are facing at this time but it is important to ensure you have the correct patient before carrying out a procedure.
