"Flu vaccine experience"

About: Sunny Meed Surgery

Went for a flu vaccine at the Goldsworth Park Health centre. They were organised, efficient and had put social distancing measures in place to keep visitors safe. I was sent a text informing me to only arrive 5 mintutes before the appointment which was helpful. I had to wait to be called into the centre and then only waited a couple of minutes in the waiting room, the chairs were very spaced out so I felt safe. The nurse that administered the vaccine was polite and friendly and talked me through what she was doing. She also noticed that I had a cut on my thumb and applied a plaster which I thought was very kind. The waiting time appointment didn’t last very long at all which I appreciated. Overall I was very happy with the experience.

Dear patient, we are very happy that you were pleased with the whole process regarding your flu vaccination. It has not been easy organising flu clinics under the circumstances so your comments are very much appreciated. Thank you also for your kind words about our nurse which we will pass on. All the best, Sunny Meed Surgery team
