This is the second time I have been referred to well-being now. The first time I went for trauma therapy and they told me because the period I experienced the trauma lasted for 3 years they had to refer me to someone more qualified. I never heard back from them and they discharged me. Second time I was referred by my doctor for a diagnosis as I have been struggling mentally with trauma and traits of ocd , body dysmorphia. The lady on the phone rated me on a scale and told me because I had mild depression and anxiety because I didn’t score high enough on their “assessment”. I was then told I didn’t rate high enough on their scale for ptsd either and didn’t offer me any other help. Told me they didn’t know why I was referred then began asking me highly private questions about my trauma that were already on their records from the last time I attended their services. I went very into depth about what I’m currently dealing with and I was made to feel unimportant and they focused more on my trauma which is not what I was referred for this time! Came off the phone sobbing and has left me triggered with my anxiety. They don’t want to help you unless your at the end of your tether by which time your not suited to well-being service anyway.
