I have been admitted several times this year due to self harm. My treatment is almost always excellent however last few admissions haven’t been so great.
The treatment is always explained and the same, two iv infusions the first over 2 hours and the second over 10 hours with no gap in between. My last couple of admissions this hasn’t happened there has been gaps in treatment for example there was an 1hr 45 min gap between the first and second infusions this resulted in the nurse adjusting the time on the pump to 8 hr 15 min rather than 10 to cover up the gap. Surely that shouldn’t happen and the treatment is so specific for a reason, I feel due to the reason I was in I get treated very differently
