I am a member of staff who attended for a Covid test after spiking a temp at work. The ladies on shift that day were just amazing. I had a little wobble before having the test as my husband is on the shielding list and for the fact I had been working when I spiked the temp. They were just lovely and the actual test itself was not as bad as I had imagined as they talked me through it and made me feel comfortable. When your confined in a ward setting you do not actually realise how busy the staff are in the covid hub and the number of people they test. I totally take my hat off to the staff running this service and would like recognition for their services.
