"Everyone was so friendly and professional"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Minor Injuries Unit

(as a service user),

Excellent experience. I fell whilst walking to work so had to hobble up to A& E at the Queen Elizabeth. On entering the department and was immediately able to give my details and directed to x-ray. Reception at x-ray were welcoming and I was quickly being x-rayed and back round to the Minor Injuries Unit. After barely enough time for the alcohol gel to dry on my hands I was being assessed by one of the ANP's and shown my x-ray. A walking boot was fitted by another very helpful & professional member of staff and I was back out with it feeling a lot more comfortable and all the appropriate advice about what to do. Whole process took only 45 mins and everyone was so friendly and professional.
