Called in the afternoon to see about speaking to a GP and was told to ring back the next morning to try and book an appointment—trying to get through in the morning can seem like a bit of a lottery, with more calls ending in the line going dead than getting anywhere (though reading replies to other reviews that’s a lack infrastructure—no cue system on the line—which is far from the receptionists fault, but if fixed could do away with a lot of the negative reviews). However, after eventually getting through the receptionist was lovely and promptly triaged my call and told me I would be expecting a call from a GP later that day, always nice to hear a friendly and understanding voice. Not having a time slot to expect the call could have been a little challenging but I understand that the call slot is dependent on how long all the calls before your name takes, combined with the challenges of working remotely. Locum GP was friendly and helped with my issue, although it would be great if we could get a full-time GP for the red clinic, but alas... the experience of getting to speak to a GP can be a little frustrating at times but all involved are working the hardest given the (limited) resources they are given.
