"Excellent Treatment"

I had an operation for Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair on 11th. November. Apart from a telephone call to discuss the operation I required, I saw both a Specialist Vascular Anaesthetist and my consultant prior to the operation. I was informed the magnitude of the operation, but until you have it, it is difficult to understand how it will affect your body. When I came round, the Consultant phoned my wife to let her know I was in recovery. My thanks also to the nurses in Intensive Care, absolutely superb. Back at the ward the nursing and support staff were again so good and helpful. the only disappointment was the shower for our ward of 4 had a leak, and was out of use for the last 2 days in Hospital. Addenbrookes is a credit to the NHS.
