"Such a positive experience"

About: Maternity care (Ward 31) / Labour suite maternity Maternity care (Ward 31) / Maternity care (Ward 31)

(as the patient),

I had my baby boy during lockdown in May and I cannot thank the Maternity team at the RAH enough for their support and care. My midwife Sharon was so caring and helpful with all my appointments throughout my pregnancy and put me at ease and a time when everything was very uncertain.

My experience in the Labour ward and ward afterwards was excellent. The midwives couldn't have done enough and with partners not being allowed in for visiting and staying in overnight they were always there to check that you and baby were doing well.

Follow-up afterwards was excellent too with the midwife visits very frequent and what a difference it made to have the same midwife all the way through my pregnancy and after birth experience. I can't thank the Midwive team enough for such a positive experience.

Thank you very much for your lovely feedback. I will share this with the team at RAH and know they will appreciate you taking the time to post this. It is great to hear of the fantastic care you have received.

I hope you and your baby are doing well.
