About: Glasgow Dental Hospital and School / Dental

(as the patient),

Attended Glasgow Dental Hospital for treatment and was asked if I would participate in a Corona virus swab check.  I was a somewhat apprehensive but agreed. 

I was handed over to a Student dental nurse (Justine)   Justine, talked me through the questionnaire and what the swab test would look like.   I was a bit nervous, but her professionalism and confidence put me at ease, making it a pleasant experience.  Thanks Justine.

Thank you for taking the time to get in touch. It's estimated that one third of people who have coronavirus might not have any symptoms. Public Health Scotland are trying to learn more about coronavirus in people with no symptoms. Since August this year over 7000 dental patients have taken part - thank you for helping fight the Covid-19 pandemic! I shall share your kind comments with Justine and the Clinical Research team.
