I was a day patient for a hernia repair, the care, consideration and communication I received was perfect. Thank you especially to the nurses on Attenborough, the surgical team and the anaesthesia team who listened to my concerns and acted accordingly. My recovery has been amazing. Thank you!

The Trust works hard to provide all patients with a high standard of care and treatment, underpinned by values of kindness, compassion, dignity and respect, and so it is of particular assurance for us to read that the concerns you had were listened to by staff and responded to appropriately as undergoing any form of surgical procedure can be a worrying or upsetting time for patients. The need to communicate effectively and make sure patients feel heard is of great importance to us.
