I have called in today to speak to a doctor as I gave birth 3 days ago, I had a cesarean section and the hospital gave me some pills and run out of it.I have called in and explained the situation, the receptionist told me that I had to call the day after as no booking slots available on the same day. I insisted to speak to someone as an emergency and i really can’t be without painkillers and the answer to that was that people should call in 3 days before to repeat any prescriptions and in the system
they didn’t have info about my medication. First of all 3 days ago I gave birth, secondly how could I have given the paper if I’m in pain and can’t move from home. They should listen more to people and their need, not just being rude to someone in pain. If it wasn’t an emergency I wouldn’t have called in. I do respect and appreciate the work that the NHS is doing for all of us but receptionist in the centre they are just rude and not caring for others.
"Worst receptionist ever!"
