I recently was admitted to cardiac unit ward 37 after hip replacement surgery with a suspected heart attack. Was worried about going in because of covid but was surprised how careful staff were on all aspects of safety and cleanliness. I was given every test possible to check out my heart, kidneys and urea and electrolytes. Care received was second to none all staff caring and sympathetic despite the pressure they are under. I cannot commend them enough, meals, personal care all with a smile. They kept my wife informed every day which put her mind at rest-difficult now with no visiting. Extremely grateful for their care and attention. Now home recovering leg going well and district nurses caring for wound and administering blood thinning injections. We have the best NHS long may it continue.
"Wonderful NHS second to none"
