I sadly had a missed miscarriage at 13 weeks and then went on to have a haemorrhage and had an emergency admission to gynaecology at Ninewells Hospital Dundee. The communication and compassion from the staff was amazing and really helped me deal with a traumatic experience. My husband was able to be with me throughout despite Covid restrictions and this was so essential to both of us being able to process and recover psychologically from the loss of our cherished baby.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience of the gynaecology ward in Ninewells at such a traumatic time for yourself and your husband. I am glad to hear that through incredibly sad times for yourself the staff were able to help and support you both through this. I will make sure this is shared with the staff on the ward.
