I had to have an operation to remove skin cancer from my hand which needed 7 stitches. This was a Thursday, I received a letter to attend my doctors on the Monday to remove the stiches, which I have to say was pulled together and didn’t look very nice – not neat at all. They removed the stiches and shortly afterwards the wound burst open. I then had to visit Stirling Community Hospital and then see a local community nurse. I feel that the stitches were badly put in, that there was too much strain on the wound, that the stitches were removed far too early, they should have used dumbbell stiches and dressed the wound better. A bad experience all round but now starting to heal.
"Bad experience"
