On 29/10/2020 due to a reaction to medication prescribed by my GP I had cause to make a visit to MRI A&E. From being given access by the Security Doorman, Reception and all members of Nursing and Medical staff I can only say I was treated with respect, lest delay and received appropriate response to my reason for attending. All service was provided within a clean, COVID-19 rules applied area by professional staff with a clear 'duty of care' towards those in need of attention. I was there for approximately 8 hours due to the tests carried out and was, during my wait able to observe staff response and surroundings. I can only say 'well done' to A&E at such a trying time. I do hope A&E continue with the high standard displayed on my visit as sadly, over a number of years MRI had appeared to have lost its previous good hospital hygiene and patient orientation, causing a lack of confidence in a much needed service.
Thanks to all concerned with my excellent care on 29 & 30/10/2020
