"Home assessment of aids and adaptions"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Occupational Therapy

(as a relative),

The occupational therapists Fiona and Katrina visited my sister who is 80years to assess her individual needs.

I was very happy with all the assessments that were carried out through the time they were in my sisters home.

The Occupational therapists treated my sister with respect and dignity throughout.

They wore P.P. Equipment throughout and communicated with my sister in a pleasant way and explained areas that she didn’t understand and possible timescales.

I ( as her relative) noted the way the people skills were used and could not fault any of the process. They were sympathetic to her needs and showed empathy throughout.

Dear Snowman20

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your feedback on Care Opinion regarding the Occupational Therapists who visited and assessed your sister. I was delighted to read that Katrina and Fiona treated your sister with dignity and respect throughout their assessment of her needs. I am sure it was very reassuring for you to witness the interaction between both your sister and the Occupational Therapists and that you were more than happy with the assessment which was carried out at your sister's home. May I take this opportunity to wish your sister well for the future. Thanks again for you lovely post, which I will share with both staff you mention, as well as their Team Leader.

Kind regards.

Lesley
