About: Leicester General Hospital

I was given an urgent referral from my GP due to the size of my ovarian cyst. The consultant who attended to me was attentive to my symptoms and questions, and immediately arranged for a blood test and MRI. These happened in the same week as my initial appointment. The staff who supervised both were very calming and reassuring. However, it has been a month since these appointments, and I haven't received any reply on my test results. (This was in the same week the second lockdown was announced). I understand that circumstances have changed due to COVID, but it has been rather stressful waiting without any form of correspondence.
