"Absolutely negligent and irresponsible"

About: Calderdale Royal Hospital

for the last 4 days we have been trying to get some update on our mother's health who is in stroke ward but the staff have not been helpful at all. No consultant has seen her yet. this is the 2nd time she has had stroke. first one was 2 weeks ago and we still haven't received any report of that.

The staff haven't been helpful at all and they are showing total disrespect to the patients and their family members.

We're sorry you've not had the response you needed and this is most unusual. The patient advice contact information is below as we're always keen to learn to improve. We also have a dedicated Relatives' Line manned by nursing staff who are able to give family members updates. This frees up our nursing teams right now with the added pressures they're under.
