My Husband drove me to the drop off point at Rugby St Cross on the 12/11/2020 arriving at 12 40pm and we parked at one of the Green Pathway signs. The appointment time was 13 00hrs and the letter stated that we had to remain in our car and to phone the Clinic Reception for instructions. This all went like clock work and after having a Covid test and a blood test i proceeded back to my car. I have nothing but praise for the fantastic staff.
My Husband suggested that we might have to pay although the signs said Green Pathway Parking we then went to the Parking Machine and tried to figure out how it worked there was nobody around to ask ? After putting the car reg in a fee of £1 .70 came up and i put in a two pound coin and it did not give me any change, before leaving the machine my Husband told me to pick up the receipt which i did and placed it in my purse and we left.
On the 17/11/ 2020 i received a parking charge notice from CCP
for £60 if paid by the 01/12/2020 or £100 up to 15/12/2020.
On a lighter note i had my operation at Walsgrave Hospital on the Monday the 16th November and all went well and i am now recuperating, nothing but praise for the wonderful N H S
I feel some one should be on site to assist patients when there is problems with the parking machines after all quite a few people arrive unwell and anxious they cannot rely on the N H S they have enough to do . I have put in a appeal in against the fine a week ago and still have not had a reply..
