I was recently admitted to Victoria hospital and would like to say that the care was outstanding. I was in A and E and in a lot of pain, the two nurses who looked after me that night were fantastic, very patient and reassuring. I was transferred to AU2 and again they could not do enough for me. I was then transferred to ward 54 and had my operation 2 days later under the excellent care of Mr Lumen and his team. It was reassuring to be looked after by such caring and compassionate staff. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the hospital and the constant cleaning by the hard working domestics. Everyone I came in contact with, the porters, x ray department, domestics, doctors, students and nurses were a credit to NHS Fife.
