I have some very worrying symptoms recently, and the two Doctors I have dealt with at the practice have been very thorough and organised various tests for me to establish what the problem was. Apart from attending the hospital, I have had telephone consultations, examinations and blood tests at the practice, where they have taken all precautions possible to make me feel Covid safe.

I know there is a lot of criticism about how long telephone calls take to answer first thing in the morning, but I know that on Reception they have been short staffed due to self isolation and sickness, and trying to recruit new Receptions in addition to the 5 they already have, and that not just anyone can answer the phones as they need the correct training first. I guess these are very difficult times for everyone, and especially as the demands come in peaks and troughs because of the various lockdowns. So I know they are doing their best in very difficult circumstances.
