When I posted here previously I said I was loathe to criticise people working in the NHS. So having used this forum to raise an issue I was unhappy about, I feel it is only right to redress the balance by posting about the much better service I received this week. Following my previous post I was contacted by a GP to discuss why my prescription kept being wrong and was assured the matter would be fixed for the future. So, when I visited the chemist earlier this week to collect my latest prescription, I was initially aghast to discover that once again it was missing entire items (including 8 weeks' worth of one tablet). The chemist was adamant that she had put the correct order in on my behalf. So I rang the Surgery and the person I spoke to dealt with the situation, recognising that I was upset, and promised to get the missing items to the chemist on a prescription that same afternoon. When I returned to the chemist, I discovered that the lady I had spoken to had been as good as her word and the items were waiting for me. I was not ordered to call back at 8AM and there was no attempt to pass the buck back to the chemist. It is only right therefore to give praise to the Surgery's office staff for sorting the matter out so quickly and with minimum fuss. It is a matter of great relief to know that I now have all the medication I need for the next 8 weeks and I hope that, when I come to collect my prescription in 8 weeks time, all the items will be on there in the correct quantities. So well done to the staff at the Triangle Group Practice.

Thank you Neil for your comments. We really appreciate it especially in this current climate when there are so many demands being placed on the NHS it is good for staff morale for someone to comment in a positive way.
