"Exasperating experience"

About: Dr Maher Shakarchi's Practice

End-to-end a very poor patient journey. There are 2 receptionists and 2 GPs I have seen at this practice. One receptionist is exceptionally polite and friendly, and always answers my questions happily... while the other receptionist (who I've spoken to more often) is very rude and condescending, and always interrupts me.

Neither GP gives me more than 5 minutes time face to face or on the phone, they never let me finish a sentence and then get angry if I interrupt to ask a question. Neither GP is helpful in helping me understand my condition or feasible treatment options. They always sound like they want to get rid of me as soon as possible, and often belittle/minimise my condition.

While one of the GPs is at least sympathetic, the other comes across as arrogant and patronising - they leave me feeling like I am a child who doesn't know anything about my own symptoms or long-term conditions.

I always leave feeling frustrated and humiliated. Would not recommend at all.
