Around this time last year, I began having a problem eating a meal. I often had indigestion or worse brought food up again. Just after Christmas I decided to visit my local GP who set in motion a fast track investigation.
Given that the pandemic took hold whilst the tests were being done all I can say is that I can not fault the service provided by the consultant who oversaw the investigation and the Upper GI team that performed the surgery that was needed to reduce my problem.
I have learned since that Broomfield hospital is a centre for this type of keyhole surgery, which was very fortunate for me as I live nearby.
