"Wonderful care"

About: Borders General Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I want to say a huge thank you to all the staff on Ward 16 at Borders General Hospital for all their help and support when my baby  was born at the end of September.

The support I received was fantastic. And I felt incredibly safe despite COVID.

From the moment I arrived on the ward I felt so well looked after, nothing was too much trouble and my every need was met. In addition to feeling comfortable and cared for, I also felt well informed and welcomed the help given with breastfeeding.

Special thanks to Janet, Amy, Kerry and Dawn.

Also a huge thank you to the catering staff for the wonderful, home cooked food - absolutely delicious. And the regular supply of tea and toast made my stay!
