I was asleep as normal and my catheter has came out, I phoned 111 and they said they would get a district nurse out to me within 2 hours, waited 2 hours and got a call from a GP telling me the district nurses wouldn’t be coming. I tried to explain I’m a full time Carer for my 80 year old grandmother, I cannot leave her in the house herself and with being in lockdown I can’t have people in due to her illnesses.
I then called back 111 to tell them and the nurse she would get a district nurse out again. So waited another 3 hours and get another call telling me they won’t be coming out. I’ve been fobbed off DN at least 10 times now. Always telling me I need to go back to the hospital to have it put back in, I explained and explained I can’t go because I care for my grandmother.
So now I’m sat back in retention in agony because DN aren't doing their jobs! ! I’m so sore and really at my wits end but they couldn’t show any less care.
