"Very Satisfied with this practice."

I’ve been a patient at this practice for over 20 yrs. I’ve seen reviews, many of which I feel have been a bit negative. I feel that it is easy to complain, however, if you look at the treatment we have received overall, we should be very thankful in comparison to many other countries! Over the years, I have had minor surgery here, was helped to stop smoking after some 35 yrs as a smoker, been referred on for major heart surgery with the result that I am still here, alive and well and continuing to be looked after by the surgery. I am not a frequent visitor and only come for my annual review, flu jab, or if I only really need to. The staff, from receptionists, to nurses, nursing assistants, phlebotomists and of course the GP’s and all other staff, are all fantastic and have always ever been helpful, kind and understanding. I can honestly say I have never had a moan or complaint about any of the services or treatments I have received here. If anyone feels they are not treated well here, they are free to look for another practice, simple as that! I don’t live in an idealistic world, I don’t think that everything smells of roses and that everything is perfect, but I am accepting and glad that I am still alive to be able to appreciate that there are good times and bad, but let’s get on with it and show the persons who are here to help us and who are doing their best, our thanks and gratitude. Let’s have more positive reviews which reflect what these people do instead of being negative. Life is hard enough as it is, but for me, I would like to thank all at Talbot Medical Centre for the care and dedication you all give. Btw, I’m not sucking up to anyone and am not related to anyone at this practice, I just wanted to say thank you after all these years. Stay safe everyone and keep well!
