"My recovery from alcoholism"

I was suffering from alcoholism. I tried to give up drinking earlier in 2020 and managed only 5 weeks of sobriety. I wanted to stop and I knew I needed support. I turned to One Recovery who were supportive from the world go. I was quickly appointed a keyworker, who listened to my situation. Just talking about it really helped. 

The time he gave me made me want to succeed, and provided the reassurance I needed to take action. My keyworker recommended certain tailored solutions which really worked for me. This involved talking to Healthy Minds and completing their Computer Based Therapy program which helped me deal with worries and anxieties related to my drinking. After about 8 weeks under their guidance, I no longer drink. I feel free from a problem which has plagued me for years. I now have my life back and I know I could not have succeeded without their support, and to whom I am eternally grateful.
